01how it works
Four artefacts, in order, and not one of them is a meeting.
Step 1
The client asks
The message arrives in the thread you already use. You paste it in. That is the only input.

also — can you do the French version of the landing page before we launch? shouldn't be much extra
Copied out, pasted in.
Step 2
The change order comes back
Title, scope split into Includes and Does not include, a price from your stored rate, extra days. Correct any number.

Step 3 is not automated on purpose. The request arrived in a thread, so the answer belongs in the same thread.
02why the extra is never charged
Writing it down costs more than the extra is worth.
A $300 addition does not survive a proposal tool. Rebuild the document, re-read the terms, then ask the client to enter a platform they never agreed to use.
So you say yes in two seconds, because saying yes takes two seconds. Weeks later the work is delivered, the date has moved, and nobody remembers the extra was extra.
onetap is deliberately small. One paste, one link, one tap. It fits inside the fifteen seconds where the margin is actually decided.
The tool that wins today is not Bonsai or PandaDoc. It is a verbal “sure, no problem”.
03on the record
Every extra you sent, and exactly what the client answered.
History keeps one line per change order, per client, with the price, the days and the outcome. A documented no is worth more than an undocumented yes.
Example History. Exportable as CSV or PDF, and it stays yours.

04what onetap will not do
The restraint is the product.
01
Ask the client for an account
The client opens a link, reads the scope and decides on their phone. No password, no install, no login.
02
Become your project tool
Keep the tools you already run your work in. onetap does one thing and points at all of them.
03
Touch the money
The pay button on the Record goes to your own payment link. The card never touches onetap.
04
Act like a contract
Nobody redlines a $300 addition. This is the button that says yes to an extra, small enough to get used.
05
Lock up your records
When a pass ends the account returns to Free. Every change order, Record and export stays open to you.
06
Perform enthusiasm
No confetti, no badges, no streaks. A change order is a document with a date on it, and it reads like one.
